OACC Presents: #APIVoices
Written by admin on March 17, 2014

The Oakland Asian Cultural Center (OACC) is proud to present their national #APIVoices YouTube Video Contest! This is YOUR chance to share a topic that you feel is relevant to the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community, and challenge the stereotype that social issues do not affect APIs.

This inaugural #APIVoices contest allows participants to submit a 30 second to 3 minute video that highlights an API issue that matters to them.

Contestants will have one month to submit YouTube videos for #APIVoices and post about their video to Twitter with the hashtag #apivoices. The contest will take place between 3/14-4/14.

Winners of each award will receive a $50 cash prize and shout-outs from Ruby Ibarra, Jhameel, and Jason Chu, along with VIP tickets to their culminating event on Friday, 4/25. Transportation to the culminating event at OACC is not provided.
